Nick and Emily met in middle school in tiny Georgetown, California, in between Auburn and Placerville. Nick liked Emily from pretty early on, but the feeling wasn't mutual.
In high school, Nick's crush was becoming overwhelming, so he finally gave her an ultimatum; either they began dating, or he couldn't be as close to her anymore. And she said yes!
Six years later, on their sixth anniversary, she once again said yes! Nick initially gave her a necklace as a gift. On one side, it said EWYMM. She asked him what it meant, and he pulled out her second gift, got down on one knee, and said, "Emily, Will You Marry Me?"
