Isaac met Ruth while working at Alliance Redwoods Christian Conference Grounds as naturalists. Because the naturalists live at the camp, they are all like a big family, very close and involved in each others' lives. Isaac and Ruth struck up a friendship, and bonded over their shared passion for rock climbing and cycling.
They grew closer and closer together, gradually realizing more and more that they wanted to spend more time with each other, becoming better and better friends.Then, in January 2015, they went on their first date, going rock climbing at Lover's Leap. They continued their relationship by adventuring on many outdoorsy day trips.
Their faith is a strong part of their relationship, which is why they chose to get married at the church they attend on a weekly basis.
They are both very lighthearted, easygoing people. Their same sense of humor and love for each other and those around them shows in their natural smiles across all of their photographs, making it a breeze to shoot them and everyone around them. They were one of my favorite couples that I've ever photographed.
