/// Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada
/// November 26, 2017
I shot my cousin Joel and his wife Cyndi's wedding 8 months prior in Las Vegas, during which we didn't have as much time to take some creative photos of the two of them as I would have liked, but I was still very pleased with the results (and still am), especially since it was the first wedding I had booked to shoot on my own.
When we made plans for me to come back out to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving and to watch a hockey game, I had thought about asking them if they wanted to do some more photos. Well, it turned out they were thinking the same thing, and actually asked me first before I had a chance to ask them.
We headed out to Valley of Fire, which is completely gorgeous, and worth the hour's drive from Las Vegas, even if you don't get out to hike. It's been a dream of mine to take wedding photos with just the couple in a remote wilderness area, and this definitely fulfilled that dream! I'd love to do more photography like this in the future.
