Kevin and Jillian first met in high school. They met through mutual friends, and bonded over their mutual love of music. During this time, they were both seeing other people but still built a friendship together.
Years later, as their friendship was beginning to build into something else, they grew closer when Kevin would start bringing her coffee while she was working overnight shifts at Wal-Mart. They soon began dating, and at their first date in Santa Maria they talked for four hours.
In 2017, the pair attended The Untz Festival multi-day concert tour in Mariposa with some friends. It was their first festival together. During a Yheti show, he dropped down on one knee and asked her to be his bride.
These two are truly meant for each other. They had talked about marriage long before Kevin proposed, and Jillian even bought her wedding dress before he proposed.
Music has always been woven into their friendship and romantic relationship; for these two, "love is friendship set to music."
