Kyle and Christi met years ago while working for the YMCA. They struck off a beautiful friendship at first, as he was her boss and had actually conducted her job interview. Eventually, romance blossomed as they became closer.
In 2019, Kyle proposed, and they began planning the wedding of their dreams, set for July 2020. As we all know, 2020 was a crazy year and everything was still shut down over the summer, so they pushed it back to July 2021, determined to get married that summer "no matter what."
As it turned out, July 2021 wasn't looking that much better, so it was again kicked back, to 2022. But this time, they had a surprise up their sleeves.
They arranged a birthday party for Christi in May 2021 to include both families, and surprised us with a backyard wedding for the gathered family. The party could wait until 2022, but Kyle and Christi could not!
